I know it's been a while since my last blog post, but life has been wonderfully busy. Being 8 months pregnant in summer with a 2-year-old definitely keeps you on your toes! So much has happened – from Christmas celebrations to Oscar's second birthday – and I wanted to share all these special moments with you.

December Highlights

Soul Factor's Final Concert

December kicked off with a bittersweet milestone – Soul Factor's final Christmas concert. For those who've followed along, this choir has been part of my life for 25 years, run by my parents. While it's sad to see it end, the final concert was absolutely magical. We had a sold-out show plus our first-ever online audience! The room was filled with so much love and appreciation from our long-time followers.

Christmas Season Performances

December was packed with performances, which was perfect timing before baby #2 arrives. I managed to keep singing right up until December 22nd, doing various carol services and Christmas gigs. Having my sister Lauren join for some performances and seeing little Oscar in the audience made it extra special. (And yes, singing with this bump has been quite the experience!)

Christmas & Wedding Celebrations

This Christmas was extra magical as Oscar really understood the excitement this year. We had the most adorable photo session at Chandlers Hill Christmas Tree Farm (fellow Adelaide locals, you need to check it out!). Christmas Day was spent with both families – busy but wonderful, even in the summer heat. Oscar had a blast playing with his cousins.

The holiday week ended perfectly with one of my best friends Alisa's wedding. I managed to alter a dress with ribbon to accommodate the bump, and it was such a lovely evening out with my husband. It reminded me how important friend time is, even during busy seasons.

Welcoming 2025

New Year Reflections

Can you believe it's 2025? While 2024 had its challenges (morning sickness, burning my leg, juggling business and motherhood), it was filled with joy watching Oscar grow and prepare to become a big brother.

To those reading: if 2024 was tough, remember it's okay to leave it behind and move forward. New Year's doesn't have to mean a "new you" – sometimes it's just about thoughtful planning and gentle adjustments.

We had a lovely low-key New Year's Eve at friends' with a pool, heading home early for Oscar's bedtime – the perfect way to start 2025!

January Updates

True Radiance Workshop

Started the year strong with a "New Year, Radiant Confidence" workshop on January 11th for girls aged 11-17. Working with young girls and seeing them discover tools for self-development is always so rewarding. (Keep an eye out for a upcoming blog post with some new tools for mamas!)

Baby Sprinkle & Oscar's Birthday

While Aaron was away for work (hopefully the last trip before baby arrives!), we had a sweet, intimate baby sprinkle. The love and support for this new little one is overwhelming.

Oscar turned TWO on January 13th! We had a simple day together with park visits and cupcakes, followed by a proper Bluey-themed party that weekend when Aaron returned. Seeing him so happy with all his little friends was precious.

Looking Ahead

Now it's time to rest and prepare for our new arrival, due February 22nd. This pregnancy has definitely been different – more tiring with a toddler around, and I showed much earlier! But I'm incredibly grateful for a healthy pregnancy and can't wait to meet our new little one.
